Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), returned to the country early this morning after a foreign tour and immediately headed to Gaddafi Stadium to review the arrangements for the opening ceremony. He expressed satisfaction with the preparations and issued instructions for outstanding arrangements.
Naqvi emphasized that the event should match the grandeur of the newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium.
"Today is a proud moment for Pakistan," he said, highlighting the significance of the occasion.
The PCB Chairman also praised the team behind the stadium’s renovation, stating, "The credit for completing the renovation of Gaddafi Stadium in a record time goes to the entire team. Cricket fans and players will enjoy the modern facilities provided at the stadium."
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, will officially inaugurate Gaddafi Stadium today. The opening ceremony will feature a dazzling performance by a renowned singer, along with fireworks, a light show, and a spectacular drum display. Cricket fans will have free entry to the event.
