Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi made an early morning visit to Gaddafi Stadium to review the ongoing upgradation work at the venue.
During his visit, Naqvi inspected the construction work in the stadium's basement and upper floors, assessing the quality of the work. It was noted that the basement construction has been completed, and work on the floors is now underway.
Emphasizing the importance of high-quality construction, Chairman Naqvi instructed that the project must be completed before the ICC Champions Trophy. He urged the entire team to work tirelessly, day and night, to meet the project’s deadline.

The project director from the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) briefed Naqvi on the current status and progress of the work. Other officials from PCB's domestic cricket and infrastructure departments, along with representatives from FWO and NESPAK, were also present during the inspection.
