Also present at the meeting was PCB's Chief Operating Officer, Salman Naseer.

During the exchange, Chairman Naqvi extended a cordial invitation to his counterpart at the ECB to visit Pakistan amidst England's Test tour scheduled for October. Furthermore, he conveyed his gratitude and appreciation to the ECB officials for their instrumental role in ensuring the smooth execution of the T20 series between Pakistan and England.
Mutual well-wishes were exchanged by the heads of both boards for their respective teams in the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. Additionally, Chairman Naqvi provided a comprehensive update to the ECB Chair and CEO on the preparations underway for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Assurances were made by the PCB regarding the provision of top-tier facilities and robust security not only for England but for all participating teams during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. In response, Chairman Thomson expressed his best wishes for the PCB's endeavors concerning the Champions Trophy.
