Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has received another prestigious honor
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has received another prestigious honor, as he is set to take over as the President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) later this month.
The ACC meeting is scheduled to take place in Dubai after the ICC Champions Trophy final, where the leadership of the council will officially transition.
Currently, the role of ACC President is being held temporarily by Shami Silva, the President of the Sri Lanka Cricket Board. However, following the ACC General Council meeting, the presidency will be handed over to the PCB, with Mohsin Naqvi assuming the responsibilities.
During the meeting, decisions will also be made regarding the venues for this year's Asia Cup, which is set to be hosted by India. The proposed venues for the tournament include Dubai and Sri Lanka, where the matches are expected to be played.
