Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, has taken notice of the decision to reduce the match fees for domestic cricketers participating in the National T20 Tournament.
A spokesperson for PCB stated that the chairman has directed that players' match fees in the tournament should not be reduced.
He emphasized that no such cuts should be made and instructed the Director of Domestic Cricket, Abdullah Khurram Niazi, to take immediate action in this regard.
The PCB Chairman has issued orders for a review of the match fees for all players involved in the National T20 Tournament, ensuring no reduction in their compensation.
The National T20 Cup 2025 will be held from March 15 to March 27, featuring 18 teams from 16 different regions. The tournament will take place across three cities: Lahore, Faisalabad, and Multan.
The tournament will begin with a double-header in Faisalabad, where Karachi Region (Whites) will face Islamabad Region at 7 PM. The second match will start at 11 PM. In Lahore and Multan, the first match of the day will begin at 4:30 PM, while the second match will start at 9 PM.
