PCB contacts ICC about Women’s T20 World Cup trophy tour

The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is scheduled to take place from October 3 to October 20 in Dubai and Sharjah

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reached out to the International Cricket Council (ICC) regarding the trophy tour for the upcoming Women's T20 World Cup, as reported by local media channel.

According to sources, the PCB has proposed September 18 to 20 as potential dates for the tour.

In preparation for the tournament, there has been a significant change in the leadership of the Pakistan women's cricket team. Nida Dar, the previous captain, has been replaced by Fatima Sana, who will now lead the team in the World Cup.

The national women's selection committee has officially named Fatima Sana as the captain for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. The tournament will be held in the United Arab Emirates from October 3 to 20.
