The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has initiated the proceedings to formulate plans for the betterment of cricket in the country.

The head of coaching at the High Performance Center Grant Bradburn enlightened the association coaches of their responsibilities, during a presentation in Multan ahead of the National T20 Cup.

The head coach-cum-chief selector Misbahul Haq and bowling coach Waqar Younis also briefed the coaches about their goals for the future. The captains of the upcoming National T20 Cup were also present in the meeting. A separate meeting will be held with each coach individually on Tuesday.

Misbah, Younis and Bradburn are currently in Multan to discuss a national framework. They have already held a meeting with the provincial team coaches Basit Ali, Abdul Razzaq, Mohammad Waseem, Faisal Iqbal, Abdul Rehman and Shahid Anwar. The captains of each side Sarfaraz Ahmed, Mohammad Rizwan, Haris Sohail, Shan Masood, Shadab Khan, Saad Naseem and some other staff members were also present in the meeting.

The teams were also guided on how to work within the new structure set by the High Performance Center. They were also briefed on the importance of securing the data of each player.

Misbah and Younis went through the rosters of each side while stressing on the importance of the role of the provincial coaches in highlighting new talent.

The duo is expected to meet with coaches individually on Sunday to brief them about the problems and directions for the future.
