The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued show-cause notice to two of its Board of Governors (BoG) members, President Regional Cricket Association (RCA) Quetta Shah Dost and President RCA FATA Kabir Ahmed Khan.

The show-cause notices has been issued in relation to the BoG press conference on April 17 in Quetta, which was against the PCB constitution.

The members have been asked to submit their reply to the notice in a week’s time.

President RCA Sialkot Nauman Butt has also been asked to appear before the PCB tribunal at National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore.

Last week, Nauman Butt was barred by PCB from attending any BoG and committee meetings, after a complaint was received against him for misconduct.

Butt has decided to challenge PCB’s decision against him in the Lahore High Court. He maintains that he has been made scapegoat because he questioned the appointment of Zakir Khan as Director International Cricket.

On the other hand, President Lahore Region Cricket Association (LRCA) Shahrez Abdullah Khan has admitted his mistake in revolting against the PCB and has decided to support the board's policies. He has already informed the PCB about his change in stance and maintains that he revolted due to a misunderstanding.
