The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) aims to host a T10 cricket league this year, though a packed schedule could present difficulties.

According to the details, the inaugural T10 cricket league took place in December 2017 in the UAE. Subsequently, both the West Indies and Sri Lankan cricket boards expressed their enthusiasm for this format.

Zimbabwe Cricket recently hosted a T10 event and presently, Pakistan is keen on organizing a T10 League as well.

The head of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management committee, Zaka Ashraf, has also made the announcement in this regard. A representative from the board highlighted that T10 leagues can gain more popularity in the coming years, and it's important for the PCB to progress with the times.

The board official remarked that the PSL has now gained a prominent position on the global stage, and the PCB is now considering launching the T10 League. Zaka Ashraf has also expressed his eagerness for its swift organization.

The official added that if all goes as intended, PCB is looking to host the inaugural edition this year. However, extracting a window from the busy schedule will be a significant challenge.

Numerous individuals have also reached out to the board, emphasizing the importance of receiving prior notification whenever such events are set in motion. Eventually more information regarding the T10 League will be disclosed, accompanied by the official unveiling of its logo through a proper ceremony.
