Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has advertised for the national men's team's coaching staff for the upcoming busy season.

The cricket board is looking for five player-support personnel roles, which also include power-hitting and high-performance coaches.

"The High-Performance coach should have a minimum of five years’ working experience over the past 10 years, including as a life coach for elite sportspersons and/or national or international teams," PCB said in a statement.

"The eligibility for the other four coaches is a minimum of five years’ working experience over the past 10 years as well as a level three cricket coaching accreditation," it added.

The new coaching staff is likely to start their tenure from the home series against Australia in March.

Saqlain Mushtaq served duties of head coach on an interim basis after Misbahul Haq and Waqar Younis stepped down from their respective positions.

He led the staff in T20 World Cup, Bangladesh tour and home T20I series against the West Indies.

In the 2022 calendar year, Pakistan will host eight Tests, 11 ODIs and 13 T20Is against Australia, West Indies and England, besides featuring in the ACC Asia Cup T20 tournament and the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 Australia.

In the first quarter of 2023, Pakistan will also host New Zealand and the West Indies.
