The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has provided an important update regarding the fitness of young batter Saim Ayub.
According to the PCB, Saim Ayub is recovering swiftly from a right ankle fracture and will continue his rehabilitation in England.
Following detailed MRI scans, X-rays, and medical assessments, it has been determined that Saim Ayub will be sidelined from cricketing activities for 10 weeks, starting from the date of his injury on January 3.
Doctors have advised the left-handed batter to rest for ten weeks based on his MRI scans, X-rays, and medical reports.
His availability for Pakistan’s tour of New Zealand will depend on successfully clearing all fitness tests and meeting medical requirements.
It is worth noting that Pakistan will tour New Zealand from March 16 to April 5 for a series comprising five T20Is and three ODIs.
Following the New Zealand tour, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to commence on April 8.
