The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has recalled four of its national cricketers who were participating in Afghanistan's T20 domestic league.

PCB remained adamant to care for the security of the players and following the blast in Afghanistan's T20 league, the board immediately put in the request to have the players returned to home soil.

The players participating in the league included Mir Hamza, Iftikhar Ahmed, Asif Afridi, and Kamran Ghulam. However, they were instructed to leave the country.

Four people were wounded as a result of the grenade blast at the Kabul International Cricket Stadium during the Shpageeza Cricket League.

The eighth season of the tournament is the first such event that is being held following the Taliban's rise to power in the country. This, however, has severely damaged the reputation of not only the Taliban but also Afghanistan as well.
