The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially renamed the pavilions at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore as part of its efforts to modernize and honor historical figures.

The main building's pavilions will now be referred to as the Jinnah End, while the far-end building will be named the Iqbal End.

This change reflects the PCB's initiative to celebrate Pakistan's national heroes, with both Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal being key figures in the country's history.

It was also confirmed that the name of Gaddafi Stadium will be changed after the conclusion of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The stadium has undergone renovations, and these changes will mark a new era for the venue.

The first match to be played in the newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium will be part of the Tri-Nation Series, featuring Pakistan and New Zealand on February 8.
