The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to reveal the official jersey of the national men’s cricket team for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025. The jersey will be revealed in a grand ceremony at the newly-renovated Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Friday, February 7.

The event will also celebrate the completion of the stadium’s renovation, ahead of the upcoming eight-team tournament. The celebrations will begin at 7:00 PM with the inauguration of the upgraded stadium by Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. Following this, the team’s official jersey will be unveiled at 7:30 PM.

Entry to the event is free for fans, with the gates opening at 5:30 PM. The PCB has reserved the Imran Khan enclosure for its special guests.

In addition to the jersey unveiling, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi will host a luncheon for more than a thousand construction workers who contributed to the renovation of the stadium. This gesture aims to appreciate their hard work in preparing the venue for the prestigious event.

The newly-renovated Gaddafi Stadium will play a key role in the upcoming tri-nation ODI series between Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa. The stadium will host two of the series' matches, scheduled for February 8 and 10.

The venue is also set to host at least four matches of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, including the second semi-final on March 5. If India does not qualify for the final, Gaddafi Stadium may host the final match on March 9.

The Champions Trophy will feature 15 matches and run from February 19 to March 9. The tournament will take place across three venues in Pakistan — Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi — as well as in Dubai.

The eight participating teams are divided into two groups. Group A consists of Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh, while Group B includes Afghanistan, South Africa, England, and Australia. The tournament will kick off with the opening match between hosts Pakistan and New Zealand on February 19 in Karachi. The clash between Pakistan and India is scheduled for February 23 in Dubai.
