Chairman Sethi will officially invite Irish counterparts during historic Test in Dublin

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is interested in inviting the Ireland cricket team to tour Pakistan later this year.
Ireland are set to play their first-ever Test against Pakistan, which will start from May 11 in Dublin. PCB Chairman Najam Sethi will be present at the venue for the historic event.
According to a report published in Daily Express, Sethi will officially invite the Ireland cricket team for the tour of Pakistan during the match.
Ireland agreed to tour Pakistan in 2014, but later refused because of the attack on the Karachi airport.
Later, it were Zimbabwe who became the first major international side to tour the country after the attack on Sri Lankan team bus in 2009.
Since then, the International Cricket Council (ICC) World XI, Sri Lanka and West Indies have visited the country for T20I matches.
In the meantime, PCB has also managed to host the finals and playoff matches of the second and third edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in the country.
The report further states that Sethi, on the tour, will also meet the head of ICC’s Pakistan Task-Force Giles Clarke, captain Sarfraz Ahmed and coach Mickey Arthur.
