Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) continues to search for a new head coach for the women's team and has also advertised in this regard.

A head coach has not been formally appointed since David Hemp stepped down in August. Former pacer Saleem Jaffer has been serving as head coach on interim basis.
PCB is keen to appoint a head coach ahead of the Australia tour. Apart from the series against Australia, the national team has to participate in the T20 World Cup early next year. The tournament is scheduled from February 10 in South Africa.
It must be noted that the Pakistan women's team was recently defeated by Ireland 1-2 in the T20 series played in Lahore.
