Darren Sammy will not be available for Peshawar Zalmi as the seventh edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to kick off tomorrow.
The West Indies all-rounder played an integral part in Zalmi's success as he led the team and then proceeded to become the head coach of the franchise.
The sources have confirmed that Sammy apologized and agreed to take some time off due to personal commitment.
Former England Test cricketer James Foster has been named as the new head coach of Peshawar Zalmi.
Foster reached Karachi and joined the bio-bubble yesterday and will guide the Zalmi team.
