Islamabad United beat Multan Sultans on Sunday to book their place in the playoffs of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine.
Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi have already secured their spots in the playoffs.
Currently, Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings are in contention for the remaining playoff spot.
Quetta, with two matches left against Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans, requires just one more victory to confirm their playoff berth.
On the other hand, Karachi Kings need to win their last game Peshawar Zalmi on Monday to remain in the playoff race. Furthermore, Karachi is dependent on Quetta Gladiators losing all their remaining matches for a chance to secure a playoff spot.
If Karachi Kings lose their last game, Quetta Gladiators will automatically qualify for the playoffs.
It's worth noting that the defending champions, Lahore Qalandars, are already out of contention for the playoffs.
