The historic series between Pakistan and Australia on Pakistan's home soil started today at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium with a Test match.
This is Australia's first tour of the country in 24 years, where they will play three Tests, three ODIs and a T20I.
Federal Minister for Information Technology and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhary also visited the stadium with Governor Sindh Imran Ismail.
While talking to the media, Fawad Chaudhary revealed that Prime Minister Imran Khan would also visit the stadium to watch the historic Test.
Note, the current PM was one of the most successful captains of Pakistan, and during his playing days, he had a very impressive record against the Aussies. He picked up 64 wickets in 18 innings, including one ten wicket-haul, and also had a century and five half-centuries to his name with the bat.
After the first Test, both teams will travel to Karachi for the second Test, while the third Test will be played in Lahore, followed by three ODIs and a T20I to be played in Rawalpindi.
