Match has been abandoned due to rain
The match between Australia and Afghanistan in the Champions Trophy was abandoned on Friday at Gaddafi Stadium. As a result, Australia has qualified for the semi-final and secured the top position in Group B with 4 points.
Meanwhile, Afghanistan, currently standing third in the points table with 3 points, has to wait for other favorable results to qualify for the semi-final of ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
The last group-stage match of Group B will be played tomorrow, Saturday, March 1, between England and South Africa at B=National Bank Stadium in Karachi.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals, with the winners of each semi-final facing each other in the final, which will be held at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on March 9.
Final will move to Dubai if India qualifies for it.
