Varun Chakravarthy stars with the ball as India register 44 runs win over New Zealand
The last group-stage match of ICC Champions Trophy 2025 concluded on Sunday at Dubai Cricket Stadium, where India secured a 44 runs victory over New Zealand.
This win takes India to the top of the points table, finishing in first place with six points.
Their next challenge will be against Australia in the first semi-final, as the victorious team will then advance to the final of the Champions Trophy 2025.
On the other hand, New Zealand finished their group stage in second place on the points table with four points. They will now face South Africa in the second semi-final on Wednesday, 5th March, at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
The winners of each semi-final will face off in the final, which is scheduled to be held at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on March 9. If India qualifies for the final, it will be moved to Dubai.
