Points table after West Indies beat Papua New Guinea in T20 World Cup 2024

The West Indies secured a commanding victory over Papua New Guinea in the T20 World Cup match on Sunday in Providence. This triumph puts the co-hosts at the top of the points table with two points. Their next challenge will be against Uganda, on Saturday, June 8.

Papua New Guinea, on the other hand, will aim for their first points when they face Uganda on June 5 at the same venue. Group C’s next match is set for Monday, June 3, between Afghanistan and Uganda in Guyana.

The top two teams from each group will qualify for the super eights, which will feature 12 games, before the top two from each super eight group will qualify for the semi-finals. The final will be played in Barbados on June 29.
