Instead, he was assigned as the head of the Special Projects department.

At present, both Hasnain and Zaka Ashraf are in South Africa. However, during the ICC meeting, the PCB's representative will be CEO Salman Naseer. Hasnain has accompanied them to offer suggestions on the revenue-sharing model of the International Cricket Council. Sources suggest that Hasnain might soon bid farewell to the PCB on his own accord, or he may face termination by other means. Prior to their departure, the media department provided Ashraf with a briefing on their work. However, he remains dissatisfied, indicating the possibility of significant changes. Interviews have already been conducted to explore this matter further.

Influential figures are attempting to safeguard Naila Bhatti's employment, who served as a close ally of Najam Sethi and currently holds the position of PSL commissioner. Nonetheless, the chances of her retaining her role seem slim. Before his departure, the chairman of the former management committee promoted certain officials. However, their performance will be reassessed from scratch, and individuals who were promoted without merit may be returned to their previous positions.
