The ground staff has started the process of removing football poles and preparing the playing squares to accommodate the cricket pitches, ensuring that everything is set for the upcoming cricket season. The season will officially kick off on November 4 with the white-ball series featuring Pakistan.
In addition to the Pakistan-Australia matches, cricket enthusiasts can look forward to an exciting lineup of fixtures at the MCG and other venues. The series continues with a match between India A and Australia A starting on November 7, leading up to the historic Boxing Day Test match between India and Australia on December 26.
Furthermore, the Women's Ashes series is scheduled to begin on January 30, which will feature a highly anticipated day-night Test match between the Australian and English women's teams.
