Lahore Qalandars clinched their third Pakistan Super League (PSL) title with an exciting six-wicket victory over the Quetta Gladiators in the PSL 10 final held in Lahore on Sunday. Alongside the trophy, the Qalandars walked away with a hefty prize of USD 500,000 (over PKR 140 million).

The Gladiators, finishing as runners-up, earned USD 200,000 (around PKR 56 million) for their efforts in a competitive season.

Hasan Nawaz, the Gladiators’ dynamic middle-order batter, was named Player of the Tournament as well as Best Batter, thanks to his consistent and explosive performances throughout the season.

Islamabad United’s opener Sahibzada Farhan took home the Hanif Mohammad Cap for scoring the most runs in the tournament. On the bowling side, Shaheen Shah Afridi, captain of the champion Qalandars, received the Fazal Mahmood Cap for claiming the most wickets.

Faheem Ashraf, from Quetta Gladiators, was awarded Best All-Rounder for his valuable contributions with both bat and ball. Meanwhile, rising star Mohammad Naeem of Lahore Qalandars was named Emerging Player of the Tournament.

Peshawar Zalmi’s wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Haris earned the Best Wicketkeeper award, while his teammate Abdul Samad won Best Fielder after taking nine catches in just five matches.

The Player of the Final accolade went to Sri Lanka’s Kusal Perera, whose match-winning performance sealed the title for Lahore Qalandars.

Peshawar Zalmi also received the Spirit of Cricket Award in recognition of their outstanding sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

Overall, the PSL 10 season ended on a high note with memorable performances and deserving winners across the board.
