Karachi has bid farewell to the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 trophy as its two-day tour in the city came to an end. The trophy made stops at iconic locations throughout Karachi before continuing its journey to Lahore.
The PSL trophy was first displayed at Lyari’s Kakri Ground, where Islamabad United's fast bowler Rumman Raees brought it onto the field. Raees also participated in a football match, adding excitement to the event. The vibrant atmosphere was further enhanced by a lively Leva dance performance, a traditional dance from Lyari.
From Lyari, the trophy traveled to Adventure Land in Bahria Town, where it was displayed for fans to see and take pictures with. The venue was decorated with PSL team flags, creating a festive atmosphere. Many cricket enthusiasts gathered to admire the trophy.
Earlier in the tour, the trophy had also been showcased at the go-karting track in Korangi and the historic Frere Hall, with the go-karting track similarly adorned with PSL team flags, drawing a large crowd of supporters.
After concluding its tour of Karachi, the PSL trophy will now head to Lahore, where it will make appearances at key locations around the city over the next two days. Following Lahore, the trophy will visit Multan on March 18, Bahawalpur on March 19, and Faisalabad on March 20, before making a stop in Peshawar on March 22.
The first leg of the PSL 10 trophy tour will conclude in Islamabad on March 23, with the trophy visiting the capital city. Details of the second leg of the tour will be announced in the coming days.
The 10th edition of the PSL is set to begin on Friday, April 11, with defending champions Islamabad United facing two-time winners Lahore Qalandars at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. In addition, an exhibition match is scheduled for April 8 in Peshawar, with the participating teams to be announced soon.
