The 21st match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators was abandoned due to bad weather on Thursday at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Both teams were awarded one point each.

Lahore Qalandars were batting first and had reached 111 for 3 in 11.3 overs when a sudden dust storm forced the players off the field. Soon after, light rain followed, and despite a brief wait, the weather did not improve, leading to the official abandonment of the match.

The Qalandars had a poor start when experienced opener Fakhar Zaman was bowled by Khurram Shahzad for a duck on just the third ball of the match. However, Abdullah Shafique and Mohammad Naeem built a strong comeback with an impressive 102-run partnership for the second wicket.

Mohammad Naeem played an aggressive knock, scoring 50 off 30 balls, including three fours and four sixes. He was dismissed by mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed in the 10th over. Abrar also picked up Daryl Mitchell shortly after, bringing the Qalandars to 111 for 3 before the match was halted.

Abdullah Shafique remained unbeaten with 53 off 32 balls, hitting three fours and three sixes.

The shared point keeps both teams in the top three of the PSL 10 points table. Lahore Qalandars are now second with nine points from eight matches, while Quetta Gladiators hold third place with nine points from seven matches.

Updated PSL 10 points table (as of May 2, 2025):

Islamabad United, the defending champions, continue to lead the table with 10 points from six games. Karachi Kings are just behind the Gladiators in fourth place with eight points from seven matches.

Peshawar Zalmi remain in fifth with four points, while Multan Sultans sit at the bottom of the table with only two points from eight matches and are officially out of the playoff race.
