The draft for Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 will take place on January 11, and it will be held in Pakistan.
Sources reveal that there was a proposal to host the draft abroad during a recent meeting. However, it has now been decided that the PSL 10 draft will be held either in Lahore or Karachi.
According to the sources, the decision to hold the draft in Pakistan was made because it is not the right time to conduct it overseas. The meeting also concluded that it is more suitable for the Pakistan Super League's draft to take place in Pakistan.
It was also confirmed that all PSL 10 matches will be played in Pakistan, despite previous suggestions to hold some matches abroad.
Since its inception, Islamabad United has won the PSL three times (2016, 2018, and 2024), while Lahore Qalandars secured victories in 2022 and 2023. Peshawar Zalmi won the 2017 edition, Quetta Gladiators won in 2019, and Karachi Kings claimed their first title in 2020, with Multan Sultans emerging as champions in 2021.
