The HBL Pakistan Super League season eight will begin on February 13 with a match between the defending champions Lahore Qalandars and the 2021 champions Multan Sultans.

The replacement draft for HBL PSL 8, took place on January 25, where all the franchises gathered to finalise their squads for the upcoming season. The six teams also selected partial replacements for players who are not fully available for the tournament.
