Fakhar Zaman will be absent for Lahore Qalandars' final match of the PSL season nine against Quetta Gladiators on Sunday due to a hand injury he sustained during the previous game against Karachi Kings.

The left-handed batsman incurred a fracture on his finger while attempting a forward-diving catch.

Speaking at the toss, Shaheen Afridi expressed the team's resilience in closely contested matches and mentioned the unfortunate loss of Fakhar Zaman.

“Result wise it's very tough, as a team we fought in every game, 6-7 games were really close. Two changes, unfortunately Fakhar got fracture on his finger,” Shaheen Afridi said at the toss.

Lahore Qalandars have won the toss and opted to bat first against Gladiators.
