Multan Sultans have announced a replacement for their talented pacer, Ihsanullah, who is sidelined and recovering from an elbow injury.

Ali Majid Shah steps in for Ihsanullah for the remainder of PSL season 9. Despite Ihsanullah's efforts in the nets, he hasn't received the green light from the medical team, ruling him out for the rest of the season.

Ihsanullah's absence is significant, given his remarkable performance in PSL 8, where he secured 22 wickets in 13 matches.

Nevertheless, Multan Sultans are maintaining their stronghold in PSL 9, currently topping the points table with eight points from five matches and a net run rate of 0.78.

Their recent wim over Quetta Gladiators halted the latter's three-match winning streak, solidifying their position at the top.
