PSL 9: Playoffs qualification scenarios for all teams

Ahead of the Peshawar Zalmi vs Quetta Gladiators clash in Rawalpindi on Friday, both teams are locked in a crucial battle for playoffs qualification in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine.

With nine points each, both Peshawar and Quetta require just one more victory to secure their spots in the playoffs.

Following today's match, Peshawar will face Karachi Kings in their final round-robin fixture, while Quetta has two more matches against Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans.

Karachi Kings coming off a loss to Islamabad United, must win their remaining matches against Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi to stay in playoff contention. Additionally, they need Zalmi, United, or Gladiators to lose all their remaining matches.

Islamabad United's path to the playoffs is clearer, needing a win against Multan Sultans in their final match to secure qualification.

It's worth noting that defending champions Lahore Qalandars are already eliminated from playoff contention.
