PSL 9: Shadab Khan provides update on Naseem Shah’s injury scare

Naseem Shah is not part of Islamabad United's playing XI for their crucial PSL 9 clash against Karachi Kings on Thursday.

He suffered an injury scare in the previous game against Lahore Qalandars on Wednesday.

Naseem sustained a calf bruise when hit by a throw from Qalandars’ skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi while attempting to run him out.

Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan, during the toss against Karachi, confirmed Naseem's rest as a precautionary measure, with no specified timeline for his return.

The incident took place in the 14th over of United’s innings, causing Naseem significant pain and a brief delay in the match.

Shaheen, showing concern, checked on Naseem, who appeared uncomfortable and limping.
