Lahore Qalandars’ middle-order batsman Mohammad Hafeez is looking forward to the clash against arch-rivals Karachi Kings, on Sunday, during the ongoing HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Hafeez has already scored two fifties in three games during the ongoing event, with his side on the second position, with two wins, in the points table.

“Every team has come into the tournament with good preparation. We have seen so far that every team has match winners and have a good combination,” said Hafeez. “Whenever we come up against a team, we plan accordingly in our meetings and then try to win the match. Obviously, we will have a good match on Sunday and we will try to ensure that we make less mistakes and improve our execution.”

He also opened up on his side’s defeat against Multan Sultans during the day fixture on Friday.

“We didn’t play well as a team today as compared to our previous matches. We were around 20-25 short, considering the momentum we had at one stage of the innings. We should have scored around 180-190 runs,” he said.

“Credit should be given to Multan bowlers as well because of the way they made a comeback after our initial attack,” he added.
