After a controversial exit for James Faulkner from the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL), Quetta Gladiators have announced his replacement on Sunday.
The 18-year-old Mohammad Shehzad has been named as James Faulkner's replacement for the remainder of the HBL PSL.
Similar to Qasim Akram, Shehzad also returned to Pakistan after representing Pakistan in the U19 Cricket World Cup.
The all-rounder registered some impressive performances in the tournament; scoring 166 runs in 6 six innings along with picking up a five-for against PNG as he conceded only seven runs.
The technical committee approved of the replacement and Shehzad is likely to join the squad today.
