Omar believes that the cricketing world is eager to watch the arch-rivals clash on the field again
Quetta Gladiators’ owner, Nadeem Omar, has thrown his weight behind the idea of organising a match between the champions of Pakistan Super League (PSL) and Indian Premier League (IPL).
While speaking in an exclusive interview with Cricket Pakistan, Omar said that the cricketing world is eager to watch the arch-rivals clash on the field again.
“Pakistanis are very accommodating and we have never mixed sports and politics. We always get lukewarm response from India. Now I am hearing that the ice is melting, so I hope good sense prevails,” said Omar.
“The whole world watches a match between India and Pakistan, so the whole world will interested in watching a clash between IPL and PSL winners,” he added.
