The incident occurred in the 38th over, bowled by Michael Bracewell. Ravindra immediately went off the field holding a towel to his face. A stretcher was brought onto the field, and the Pakistan physio assisted him. Despite the injury, Ravindra walked off the field under his own power, earning a standing ovation from the crowd for his bravery.

The blow was a worrying moment for New Zealand, but thankfully, Ravindra seemed to be okay as he left the field. His resilience was evident as he walked off, and the fans showed their support with a round of applause.
