Pakistan took over New Zealand yesterday at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore and registered their first victory in the five-match T20I series by 88 runs.

While the match wasn't to and fro and Pakistan rather secured a win comfortably - all hail to team's ace pace - Babar Azam and Muhammed Rizwan couldn't really hit the mark, for what they're known for.

Former cricketer, Ramiz Raja, while speaking on his YT channel, advised Babar and Rizwan to play their natural game but most importantly stay calm, composed and focused throughout.

"Babar Azam needs to play an anchor role if the pitches remain the same. This is not his batting approach to just step out and hit it out of the park. He does take time to settle but he covers up for that later. Similarly, Rizwan's footwork could've been better but most importantly his balance should maintain if ball starts to seam. They don't need to rush," Ramiz said

"They are capable of making extensive partnerships which benefits Pakistan at the end of the day. They create a strong base for others to propel afterwards them. So don't forget basics, no need to play in haste. They both have class, they both have ample time. Good thing is Pakistan is off to a winning start, so congratulations Babar and co," he further added.

Babar Azam scored 9 runs off 7 deliveries at a SR of 128.75. On the other hand, Rizwan could only fetch 8 runs off 10 deliveries at a SR of 80.00 and was trapped lbw by Adam Milne.

Pakistan will play their second T20I at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, to be started at 9:00 pm sharp.
