He smashed four massive sixes and secured three boundaries, as he also picked up the Player of the Match award
The 20-year-old opener Mohammad Haris has caught the attention of everyone after scoring a scintillating 49-run knock as he built a partnership with Hazratullah Zazai against Karachi Kings.
Haris played the role of a senior player as he negotiated against experienced bowlers such as Imad Wasim, Chris Jordan, and Aamer Yamin.
Failing one run short of what would have been a magnificent debut half-century, Haris made a clear statement with his 49-run inning from just 27 deliveries.
He smashed four massive sixes and secured three boundaries, as he also picked up the Player of the Match award.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja took it to Twitter to appreciate Haris' efforts and backed him to become the breakout performer from this year's PSL.
"Mohammad Harris could be the breakout player of this year's HBL PSL. Great debut and yes a great talent," wrote PCB Chairman Ramiz.
