Afghanistan's spinner, Rashid Khan, made history by becoming the leading wicket-taker in men's T20 cricket, surpassing the legendary West Indian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo.

At the start of the match, Rashid was tied with Bravo at 631 wickets, but he moved ahead by dismissing Sri Lanka’s Dunith Wellalage in the 10th over. Rashid further extended his lead by removing India’s Dinesh Karthik in the 17th over.

With this achievement, Rashid Khan now has 633 wickets in 457 innings, surpassing Bravo, who has 631 wickets from 546 innings.
