Rashid Khan closes in on Dwayne Bravo’s T20 record

Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan continues to solidify his legacy in T20 cricket. Known for his deceptive spin and game-changing performances, Khan has reached a notable milestone—600 T20 wickets. 

He achieved this feat while playing for Trent Rockets in yesterday's The Hundred 2024 match against Manchester Originals, where he claimed two wickets.

At just 25 years old, Khan is the second bowler to reach this landmark, following only Dwayne Bravo. He is the youngest and fastest to achieve this milestone in just 438 innings.

Dwayne Bravo remains the top wicket-taker with 630 wickets in 543 innings. Imran Tahir follows with 502 wickets in 388 innings, and Shakib Al Hasan has 492 wickets in 436 innings. Khan’s accomplishments further establish him as a game-changer in T20 cricket.
