Former cricketer Rashid Latif, has called for two changes in the Pakistan team for the second T20I against Afghanistan on Sunday in Sharjah

Pakistan suffered a six-wicket loss to Afghanistan on Friday in Sharjah, which also marked Afghanistan's first win over Pakistan in T20Is.

While speaking on his YouTube channel, Latif said that Pakistan should include Iftikhar Ahmed and Mohammad Nawaz in the team to bolster their spin stocks.

“We couldn’t read the pitch properly or Afghanistan spinners. We will have to make some changes. We were missing Iftikhar [Ahmed] and [Mohammad] Nawaz. We missed four overs of spin during our bowling and that made the difference,” Latif said.

“If not both, at least one of Iftikhar or Nawaz should have been part of the playing XI. When we became number one in T20I under Sarfaraz, we played most games in UAE. He always used to go with three spinners. He used to have Hafeez as third bowling option along with Imad Wasim and Shadab. You can’t go with less than three spinners on a UAE pitch,” he concluded.
