Former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif has unveiled his lineup for Pakistan's highly anticipated T20 World Cup showdown against arch-rivals India today at the Nassau County International Stadium.
Latif took to the social media platform 'X' and shared his team for the crucial match.
The former wicketkeeper included all-rounder Imad Wasim instead of Azam Khan, citing Khan's recent form slump. The wicketkeeper-batter has struggled in his last six matches, being dismissed for a duck three times.
It is worth noting that the Men in Green had a rough start to their T20 World Cup campaign, losing to the co-hosts in a super over. Meanwhile, the Indian team began their journey with a win against Ireland.
Rashid Latif's Playing XI:
Pakistan: Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Babar Azam (c), Fakhar Zaman, Usman Khan, Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadab Khan, Imad Wasim, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Amir, Naseem Shah, Abrar Ahmed.
