England leg-spinner said both players are world class batsmen
Another day, another leg-spinner has preferred the Pakistan limited-overs captain Babar Azam over Indian captain Virat Kohli due to his current batting form.
In an interview with At The Crease TV, England leg-spinner Adil Rashid decided to go with Babar when asked to name the best batsman in limited-overs cricket currently among the aforementioned duo.
“It is a tough one that. So if you go on current form, I think I got to go with Babar Azam. That’s current form I’m talking about. I picked Babar Azam because he is in better form. They both are world class players anyway,” said Rashid.

Earlier on Wednesday, New Zealand leg-spinner Ish Sodhi in an Instagram live session with CricTracker, also ranked Babar at the top in his ‘fab five’, which also includes Kohli, Australia's Steve Smith, Black Caps captain Kane Williamson and England's Joe Root.
“I’ll go with Babar Azam at first and Steve Smith at second. Then Kane Williamson, Virat [Kohli] and Joe Root in the end,” said Sodhi. “Babar is the toughest to bowl among the fab five. He is really a great player.”
“We have played against Babar Azam on some really hot days in UAE and he has played really well,” he added.
