Rawalpindi to host opening ceremony of HBL PSL 10

The ceremony is set to begin at 7:00 PM on Friday, April 11, followed by the opening match between IU and LQ at 8:00 PM

Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host the opening ceremony of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10. 

The ceremony is set to begin at 7:00 PM on Friday, April 11, followed by the opening match between defending champions Islamabad United and two-time winners Lahore Qalandars at 8:00 PM.

The event will be played across four venues: Karachi’s National Bank Stadium, Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, Multan Cricket Stadium, and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The grand final of the tournament will take place at Gaddafi Stadium on May 18.

The opening ceremony promises to be a star-studded event with performances from renowned Sufi music artist Abida Parveen, cultural acts by Ali Zafar, and contemporary music by Young Stunners. Additionally, the singers of the HBL PSL 10 anthem, including Abrar ul Haq, Ali Zafar, Natasha Baig, and Talha Anjum, will also perform. Fans will also enjoy a dazzling firework display to mark the beginning of the tournament.

The tournament will feature six teams and a total of 34 matches from April 11 to May 18. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host 13 matches, including the two Eliminators and the grand final. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, including the first Qualifier on May 13. Karachi’s National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium will each host five matches.

Additionally, the tournament will feature three double-headers, with two scheduled for Saturdays and one on Labour Day (May 1).
