Pakistan, after registering a historic chase in the first Test match, were held off by Sri Lanka in the following match as the home side posted a 508-run target for the Men in Green to chase.
The second Test match ended in favor of Sri Lanka as they won by a huge margin of 246 runs as Pakistan were bowled out for 231 and 261 in their respective innings.
After a rather disappointing performance, reactions on social media poured in; some praised both teams for putting on a superb display in both matches whereas others questioned team selection and tactics.
What a good series Sri Lanka and Pakistan have provided. Another series that that was good for test cricket. And congratulations #PrabathJayasuriya. Look forward to seeing lots more of you

Would Pakistan have lost the first match had it not been for Abdullah Shafique?

Did Pakistan batters fail to put up a show in the second Test match?
….And poor shot selection, lacking the temperament to handle pressure in crunch situations. https://t.co/mhzqe5lPW2

No doubt that Yasir Shah has been consistent with the bat when Pakistan needed him.
You know things are bad when Yasir Shah has looked more reliable with the bat than most of your top order batters #SLvPAK #Cricket

The left-hander has terrible form away from home. Here's something to prove that point:

Outstanding cricket during difficult times.
Thus ends a magnificent 55-day tour of Sri Lanka, including an incredible 34 days in Galle. We’ve had some outstanding cricket. And a political revolution. It’s a tour I will never forget! At the end of it, SL won exactly as many games they lost #SLvAUS #SLvPAK

Does Babar have too much pressure on his shoulders?
Babar's comparison with Root, Smith and kohli is unjustified not because he is not better than them but because of amount of responsibilities Babar has on his shoulders.#SLvPAK #BabarAzam𓃵 Rizwan

Harsh words. Is it right?
What a pathetic and spineless performance from Pakistan. No fight, no determination. Absolutely clueless #SLvPAK #Cricket
