Former Pakistan cricketer Usman Qadir has declared his retirement from the sport, expressing frustrations over the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) No Objection Certificate (NOC) processes.
The 31-year-old leg-spinner, who represented Pakistan in 25 T20 International matches, revealed that he had been facing difficulties in obtaining the necessary NOC for a prolonged period. This, coupled with disappointment over the behavior of the PCB's international department, led to his decision to retire from Pakistan cricket.
In an interview with a local news channel, Qadir confirmed his retirement, stating, "Today, I announce my retirement from Pakistan cricket." He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to represent his country and highlighted the fond memories he had made during his cricketing journey.
