Mohsin Naqvi had instructed the relocation of the large screen
Work has commenced on the removal of the large electronic screen at the National Stadium Karachi. The screen, which obstructs the view from the Intikhab Alam enclosure, is being dismantled as its LED panels are being separated for removal.
Additionally, the structure of the smaller screen located in front of the Waqar Hasan enclosure has also been taken down.
Sources indicate that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi had instructed the relocation of the large screen. The screen was impacting the seating capacity of the Intikhab Alam enclosure, which accommodates 1,500 spectators. It is planned to be repositioned at a higher location towards the mid-wicket area.
There are also suggestions to install the large screen between the Majid Khan and Zaheer Abbas enclosures. Furthermore, plans are in place to install large screens on both sides of the mid-wicket area within the National Stadium, enhancing the viewing experience for fans.
