Pakistan batting coach Younis Khan is delighted with the resumption of the sixth season of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Abu Dhabi.

While speaking to media at the Moin Khan Academy, Younis said that he is keen to watch some competitive matches when the league resumes.

“Resumption of PSL 6 is a good sign as we move forward. I am looking forward to some exciting contests in Abu Dhabi,” Younis said.

“I am not supporting any particular team as all of them are pretty balanced. However, I wish Lahore Qalandars does well but my wishes are with all the teams,” he added.

Younis also acknowledged the lack of consistent performance from Pakistan’s middle-order batsmen in limited-overs cricket.

“Pakistan team’s performance is getting better and I hope we are able to bring consistency in our performance,” he said.

“We know we lack in middle-order batting and we are working on it. We are finding batters for middle-order and we are looking forward to getting prepared before T20 World Cup,” he concluded.
