Ricky Ponting predicts Champions Trophy 2025 finalists

Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting has predicted that Australia and India will face off in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

Speaking on the ICC Review, Ponting highlighted the strength of both teams, stating that their quality players, recent performances, and track record in ICC events make them strong contenders for the final.

However, he also issued a warning about Pakistan, saying they could pose a serious challenge to both teams. "Pakistan has been playing some excellent ODI cricket recently," he said. "We know that predicting Pakistan’s performance in big tournaments is never easy, but it seems like they have improved in many areas."
